Abandoned Project? Anyone Interested? Haha!

Nope! Forget to check/test. So last night finally worked on the Lipo and Anti-Spark. Configure Settings via MGM Software (Tons of Detail Settings). Thereafter, couldn't get the RX/TX/ESC to communicate. Oh My, it can be anything or BROKEN, oops!.

Haha, OPTO! Does NOT HAVE an internal BEC. So all I need - an external power source for RX and Servo. And in this case - NOT to unhook, the Red Wire of the ESC.
Whew, 2Easy! Thanks Martin of MGM!
Oh Yeah the Spektrum S9020 Feels Great Driving the FGMT-E. Should get more of this - Thanks RCS!

Lean & Mean
Pigie drops more dead weight -- Cage, Body, and F/R Bumpers. Totally an ALL Stock Lean & Mean 20HP Machine.
Just got back for a outdoor-run/low-down. No Breakdown or Glitch. Everything is working just fine!

The Shakedown

Clean Layout
Refinements to electronic layout/wirINg was made improving performance, reliability, and especially Safety. Trimmed Body shell.
Powered by
10S Lipo - 36V 140C Burst & 4+10 Capacitors for Quick Boost in Power Surge. Installed 2-switches, the First to Power-Up RX and Servo via Castle [email protected]. And the second Switch to power-up the MGM ESC (Does not have an internal BEC). ESC has a built in Anti-Spark. ESC Setting are done via MGM's Software.

Aerodynamics
Installed Grafil SCRR Bodyshell and Body Mount (to discard Cage). Hoping that the SCRR will improve on aerodynamics (Speed and Battery Efficiency), PLUS I like Short Course. Further Reduce weight by discarding Cage and F/R bumpers (Zero of Plans to to BASH, No Way -- HAHA!). After seeing how nice Pigie Speeds, it was very tempting to buy every aftermarket part, especially those shiny 6065 aluminums -Bulkhead and the likes. I decided to go with beefy stock plastic parts, and spend money on Batteries & Tires.
What's Next/Remaining
So what else needed tone done? Waiting on an 18T Motor Spacer. I wanted to improve meshing of spur Gear and Pinion 58/18. Kinda noisy because of the loose gap. That's it Folks! Everything set, I can confidently strap-in an additional 5S, the MAXX for MGM equivalent to 20 horses.
Thank for your Interest and Patience. For this planning a Large Scale E-Conversion, I hope you are able to draw some ideas.

TeamLosi DBXL-E

I LOVE Go Fast! I Love Large Scale! I'm glad that there was no takers when I offered the DBXL-E for Sale. 3X Believe Me.
Everybody says, the DBXL-E can, right out of the Box. And in my experience, is is true indeed!
Then we want to go insanely Faster. I spoke to MGM. Then ordered-up parts from RCS - 14T pinion and 48T spur. This DBXL-E feels and drives nicely Dialled-in.
