I installed the 21 degree blocks and to be honest if you have a radio with dual rate adjustment, then you can probably save yourself some money. The same effect can be accomplished by dialing out some of your steering. I ran without the 21 degree blocks for almost two years and decided to try them. They basically just calmed the steering which can essentially be accomplished with dual rate on your radio also.
I'm not very good anymore these days thanks to a 20+ year layoff and was struggling quite a bit and these blocks took 2 seconds off my times easily as I jumped from 29-31 second laps to 27's consistently and have dropped down to the 26's and on the verge of the ever illusive 25's!

I tried that and it calmed it down a bit, but the affect of the Blocks changes how the entire car corners and allows the front wheels to bite as you apply the power, thus preventing the rear from whipping around on you. Overall it makes the car not only easier to drive but makes it robustly consistent in regards to reaction from steering input. With out them some input can make it dart off considerably more abruptly.

2 seconds for sure!
Overall when you find yourself over correcting constantly you lose little bunches of time that amount to more than we think. When a car is dialed and you are running the proper rubber, the car drives almost like a slot cat so you just have to manage how much throttle to give and it goes. I'm now receiving a bit of advice from a local pro who runs the 44.2 and he is bestowing me with his wisdom on tires, shock and diff oils and overall setup. I've gotten this far on my own so I'm fully expecting his input to get me to that damn 25 second lap! LOL

What are you guys using to prevent the pin in rear-center driveshaft from coming out? I've heard that it can happen and then ruin the battery pack. Is there anything apart from shrink tube? For example something similar to the plastic cover that is used in xb4.

Some guys are using the cv boots on the centers also. I would just wait a month and buy the u joints and never worry again.
It comes with a plastic retainer.. I've never had a retainer fail in 2yrs. That and thread lock the grub screw good.

I had this issue earlier this year and nothing helped except red loctite. The plastic collar wouldn't hold, the shrink wrap out get punched thru and it ruined a batter for me. I used red loctite and haven't had to think about it since.
Anti squat
What is a good starting point for smooth indoor type track on anti squat??
Hey guys here is an update to the project I have been working on. DEX410 with 3 DIFFS! Here are some specs and pics for your viewing pleasure!
7075-T6 +8 chassis
Modular design to run DESC410 center diff or stock 410 buggy slipper
Saddle packs or shorty across the rear.
Just need to finish installing the electrics and take it out for a test drive....
