You could take this
http://www.overkillrc.com/products.h...roduct=5399079
and a 4 pin cord to go with it
http://www.overkillrc.com/products.h...roduct=5399081
put the header in the cord, then put the header down through the holes
Tilt it up so it gets a good pressure/contact to all the pins, and press program on stvp
i also offer pre flashed and modded gt3b's

Losi, I know the price will just keep climbing
but offering your pre-modded GT3B WITH the steering bearing mod and regulator mod would be an "end all-be all" GT3B for people...
Just a thought...

I'd be willing to mail mine in to have the work either done for me or in exchange for an updated gt3b that had the 3rd channel set to turn on/off my LEDs.
How much if I were to dothe swap? My controller is brand new. Never even turned on, still in box.
Oh and thanks for all the gouge. Gouge is what we military folk call important information or necessary and vital information.

100% should be full throw but all servos are slightly different and could need the extra range. ranges over 100% are to be used with care though as they can burn out the servo.
open the casing of the radio, pull out and desolder the original battery tray, put a plug on the end of the wires that matches to your battery pack. et voila! you can now run your nimh pack.
be a lot easier to just put 8 aa's in it though, unless you already have the pack

I'm planning to do this, actually. any combination of: Latest 3ch firmware, bearing mod, reg mod, charging socket mod so you can just plug it direct into a proper peak detecting charger, and a power LED mod if people want it. Might not be any use to you though, as i'm in the uk..

I just picked one up for my vintage 2wd buggies. Needing only 2 channels I can't think of a single reason why I'd need to upgrade anything.

Yes I would be interested in these. How much would it be for these radios with all the mods?

Yes i'll be offering all the other mods as well, in the near future...once i actually do them myself
I'm also planning on a gt3b builder. Which will allow switches to be moved/changed
I also am working on a few projects. EL backlight, 1s lipo reg, gt3b computer, frsky mods, and afew other top secret ones
But right now i've been putting most of my spare time and money into my crawler for the next comp season, and working on another radio project of mine (non-gt3b based)
