We would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday season

For short course truck classes in 2wd do we want to do mod and stock or just mod. I wanted to keep a stock class for those just starting out, whats your thoughts, As for 4wd we will have that as its own class

I think the 2wd classes in SCT are shrinking and the 4wd is getting bigger. With that in mind, I can't see keeping stock and mod for 2wd. If we let them run in the one class and re-sort after the first heat, then most of the newer people will end up in a heat together anyway. Besides, who took 2nd at the 1/10 regionals on stock tires with a 17.5 in blinky mode? FYI, he ran two weeks ago at the Compound in upstate PA with the same car in blinky mode against a field of 15 cars running boosted speed controls and qualified and finished 3rd with a pretty much box stock blitz. Yes it can be done.

I enjoyed running stock SC last year, and would vote to have it again this year.

However, I can't see having stock and mod 2wd SC, and 4wd SC, along with all the 1/8 scale classes. Either do stock (2wd) and mod (2wd or 4wd) or have mod 2wd and mod 4wd.

2wd mod is one of the biggest classes at our track and the same with bumps and jumps. We no longer run stock because there where not enough wanting too run it. I know bumps and jumps did away with it as well, its now a sportsman class. I won the roar series last year but just feel 2wd stock is a dying class. I vote for pro2 and pro4 just like they do in the roar nationals. Either way it will be a great series again and Iam looking forward too it.

Sounds like most of us are on the same page of thinking then. We just have to remember to be patient with the first heat of racing.

Don't know, but I have one & Robert and Nico also race them. My main Two classes are Nitro Trug & Bug. If I can get a paid Marshall to Marshall for me (any young or energetic takers....PM me), I'll add E Trug, E bug and 4x4 SCT.....LOL I might be slightly addicted. I will be racing E-Truggy as one of my classes at Psycho Nitro Blast.

Merry X-mas to all!

I see you didn't read the RCOS Schedule at all. thanks You hit almost every date. Then you have those rain dates again, I thought they were suppose to be on Sunday.

In all fairness it be a little hard not to hit some you have 13 races in a 20 couple weeks. And aug 11 should be a hoot with both ROAR and RCOS at the same track?
