No worries man. I was a bit of a hermit all weekend myself. I was having a rough time with the car and trying really hard to focus on that.
I'm only rolling a TC right now... but I might grab a 1/12. That new Ae car looks really cool... too bad HB has a Tbar 1/12. I've been really wanting to try a link car again with single cell lipo.

Speedzone is coming out with a single cell saddle pack lipo for the tbar cars, so the Hotbodies, Xray, Corally and Serpent 1/12ths still have a future
Very good specs so you won't be sacraficing performance either.
I have heard that Serpent will most likely release a link car in a few months though. I am going to be rolling a AE R5 soon myself for awhile at least. You should take a looksie at Brian's car too. Works very good as I ran the proto a few times![Rotating Tire](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/tire.gif)

If I'm just starting off with silver can, I do have an older LRP IPC v7.1 ESC that's not being used right now (an older version of this). You think that would work in the meantime before upgrading to 17.5 and the Novak?
I suppose if you *really* wanted to use it, you could mount it on top of the servo.

Hey Todd,
That's a great looking schedule but I got a question for you, I have only done the wednesday night thing as you know, what is the schedule for the Sat./Sunday schedule. Like what time do we show up, how many rounds of qualies, etc.? Will there be more hours to practice on a weekend date then on a weekday night?
Steve

While I'm not ready to post classes yet (the boys in charge are still having their death duel on the subject), I can tell you this:
3 Quals and Single Mains
$10 per class
Q1 at 9am (We can start early and be more relaxed during the race hours, or start later and be more rushed through the rest of the day. My vote is for the first. In climbing it's called an "Alpine Start," usually a midnight alarm and 2am on the route. If we can't set up--either completely or partially--the night before, I'll be down to roll out the carpet at 5am.)
The weekends will allow for more classes. Though in general we're still going to favor running fewer and deeper. On the specialty classes, ie. Mini, F1, 1/18th, Foam TC, expect a 5 entry minimum to run the class.

Any chance we'll get official spec tire info before the Aug 26 meeting? I'd hate to see a mad rush and leave some folks without the supply they'd like.

In my TA05 I crammed a speedpassion GT in it by turning it up on its side. It was ugly, but it stayed put. You could try something like that.

There has been hope for more weekend dates, and I have been able to add three to our calendar. Here is the complete weekend schedule for the upcoming season.
Sun. 9/20
Sat. 10/31
Sat. 11/28
Sat. 12/19
Sat.-Sun. 1/16-1/17
Sat. 2/13
Sat. 3/6
Not counting the two-day, which will probably be our round of the NWIC, that's six weekend races. I think a nice little points series is in order
And that makes a 25 date season overall--that oughta do.
