Big congrats to both of you a job well done, really amazing to be following the time sheets for the 1/12 ifmar worlds, and a few of the other big races and boom!! All of a sudden I saw both of your names on the time sheets running quick times. Can't think of a better father-son's weekend.
I was reading that some of the competition hits about 30 + big races per year, simply amazing.

Man, what a blast.
I forgot how fast and fun the 1/12 scale class is. It was my 2nd race with the Xray X12-21 that I finally got together after collecting dust for a few years. In concept, I like the idea of the black carpet, LCG, and a spool, but in reality, my program has gone downhill ever since leaving the gray carpet behind. With all of the required precision needed as the grip goes up, I tried to focus my ADHD on just a single car getting in as many laps as possible while testing slight setup changes. A bit of improvement was seen from the previous round as my qualifying laps went up 41 to 44 and my quick lap of the night went down from 10.4 to 9.8.
It was also very cool to be in the middle of another fine Team Mason battle.

If you're having fun Ryan, you're doing it right! I am really enjoying the stock tc at h30 right now. Had a great time with the guys that night.

Hey Jeff, checking to see if you want to break USGT out of Scale Spec on Wednesday. Brandon (and maybe Justin) will be at the hanger on Wednesday.

So the question I have is, is the club going to return to the class rules for USGT (25.5 motor) or are we going to change the rule to the spec 21.5 USGT motor?
I didn't mind running my Trans Am car against the USGT cars and took it as a challenge as both classes used the 25.5 motor, but when i found out
many were running the spec USGT 21.5 motor I parked my car for the night. With the shop race coming up, a decision needs to be made.

I think track size needs to be a major consideration before we start speccing 21.5's at the Hangar permanently. That's pretty damned fast for a class that isn't supposed to be.

I'll follow your lead on this. Probably best to stick with 25.5 (for club races) considering there are a few novices at Hanger building around the USGT class. I'll probably switch to VTA once regionals is done and going into spring at Seatac.
