Had a blast on Wednesday!
Thanks to Jake and Alex for the arrive and drive.
Two years goes by very quickly...
Just wanted to post about what I mentioned during the drivers meeting: Seattle RC Racers was one of my first out-of-town visits, way back in 2012, and it was such a well run and attended race program that it inspired me to do the same in Vancouver. The visiting racers and I were inspired to have a scale spec class in addition to the usual stock classes, and now it is our largest on road class as of late.
On-road attendance in Vancouver was lower in the past compared to Seattle, but it always goes up and down in waves over the years, trending very high lately. Don't let it take away from the good racing and fun that you have. Grow the novice class, encourage fun and great racing as you always have, and the growth will return. Keep racing, keep having fun, and we'll see you guys again very soon!

For those that don’t go on face book:
The club has gone to a spec tire for both Stock and Mod TC for the 2022 outdoor season at Seatac.
Basically , don’t buy Touring car tires for club races for this spring / summer , the club will supply TC tires at a reasonable price.

here ya go
Spec Tires
For Super Stock Touring and Modified Touring, we will use spec tires. We have tested and selected a very good tire, the Contact A34. It is the tire of choice for the British Nationals racing series, and is fast and durable on our track surface. We will sell sets trackside for $30. We sell a maximum two sets per day per racer.

Hello all, I was wondering when your season would be beginning again and if anyone knew of any other tracks with races around East Seattle (Bellevue, Redmond, Mercer Island)?

For reference, I'm a personal assistant and my boss mentioned that her husband does RC racing and heard of a track in East Seattle but couldn't recall where it was. I was just doing some research for her trying to find some options.
