Ok so lets see...
The weather in that weekend race will be cold without sun...
The race truck, is kind of open some quick parts, but not easy... So for sure Ill some more steering and the car has to be quick from corner to corner!!
Should i use purple springs with 450 silicone front and behind??

i have tried Li-fe batteries for my NT1 but they are normally too long to have a perfect fit in size. Normally, my friends will cut off the protection plastic packing in order to put the battery in place. Better choose either Li-po (but you then require a voltage regulator) or the usual NIMH battery.

Use dremel with flat bottom bit,

flattened the north and south corner of xray battery holder.

north corner [___________li-fe battery__________] south corner

I would start with ralph burch's winternats setup and adjust from there.

I finally ran this weekend again...
All racers had problems cause we had to
get used to the new truck line (if I say it correct)
THe car was good enough, I changed the suspensions positions more to vertical (minor change, but finally so big) , the R3 RC was to quick, and i had to loose the centax spring a 1/4 of hour...
I used 37-40 tires, but next time Ill use 35-37 for better grip... I have to admit that i didnt change the silicone in diffs for the race..
I ll do it next time!!!!
I started 4th in 2nd final...I finished 3rd, and took place place for 1st final...
Was last in 1st final in 14 cars,and i finished 8th!!
1,5 hour of racing this weekend, perfect for practice!!!

Cheers, Nick!

the Track is built from 3inch plastics PVC,we make T's inserts, small curves and big,,and Bend at different angles...drill holes in the ends for strapping it together...we also use Plow disc with a slot for the pipe to fit in for stops fo sharp corners.....and lots of VHT!....LOL!
......loop is 4inch pipe.....Drivers Stand is 13ft off the ground and 30ft in length..........

Actually it's 2.5" PVC conduit schedule 40.
The connectors are 2" sch. 40 PVC conduit with a small 2.5" sleeve in the center.

BTW Donnie- that guy smiling in the picture u posted is one handsome fella. He musta won?
