I think it's going to do well.

Damn! I might actually have to get one...

what i'd like to know is why does Duraj H look so pissed off on the front page pic on his site!? the two guys beside him are holding top class cars, yet they seem even more pissed!

lol there's no denying it though, it's tough seperating this car from a mugen or kyosho lol. has touring car got the offroad car design disease now also?

i'm still banking/hoping it's the small things that make this car different, and better than the current leaders.

also, not sure if some of you guys have noticed but it looks like the "optional battery pack" xray mention in their product description might be a lipo. if you look at the picture of the car with the lifted battery support ont he chassis under the promo pics on their site it looks alot like a lipo. i guess what some racers have been doing with their mugens, by installing a lipo has been implemented now into xrays design for their tourer. they say you can drop the tank by 3mm with this optional pack. which sound about right, as my mugen with a lipo had the tank dropped by 3mm when i did the mod myself....i'm just speculating though, i could be wrong.

Has anyone run the type of clutch shoe indicated in red below? Why would you choose this shoe over the standard shoe and how does it change clutch engagement?

Thanks!

Unfortunately it states in the specs that they are using their own mix of composite material for the shock bodies

What is this on the receiver? A push-button switch?

Maybe it's one of those silicone rubber covers in black to keep out dirt and fuel etc...

I believe that thing is a rubber covered on/off switch.

Its not the shoe. The shoe is the item above the one you are pointing out. The item in the red box is the flyweights. Just like the old serpent clutch, the weights are slid over the flywheel pins and rotate out under revs, when they rotate out the flywheel chamfer pushes them towards the clutch bell, and ahainst the back side of the clutch shoe.

I used to run with that setup in the early days of S710.
Compares with the standard one piece shoe, the cut shoe feels more aggresive.

Let's see... If I wrap my coins, start eating breakfast at home and recycling cans, I may have just enough money to buy the kit when it hits the shelves.
