Default HotBodies full prep, before shots.

Got this in on Friday. It's gonna get the full race prep on the buggy and the engine. Before shots. I'll post more pics throughout the teardown and build.

Cody Berryman's HB in the beginning stages of a factory service prep. Radio tray, engine, and car all get full teardown, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt. This service is $60 plus return shipping.

Default HotBodies factory service prep

Just wanted to post some updated pictures of what's involved and some of the things that are found on cars when looking over them. This car happens to be 2-3 races old. Good shape parts wise but it wasn't built to stay together. Clutch nut, bell screw, and other screw really loose. Some stuff way to tight causing binding. The biggest thing I found was the clutch. Similar to losi. It's way worn and when it gets below a certain measurement it really changes the feel and handling of your car, yep the handling. That's something the Adam Drake showed me years ago. So always keep your clutch in spec. The engine only 2 gallons old shows some signs of debri passing through and is low on compression. The receiver is hard mounted in the box and that's not good, and a electronic switch. They work but I'm not a fan. On this service for $60 the car comes down like this. Bearings are checked and lubed, fresh fluids, and anything that's needed.

loving the pics of your service you are providing.
noticing you mentioned that the novarossi in the D812 you had in was 'low in compression'
i assume this was deduced from when you were putting the psiton in the sleeve and seeing how far it got. this is interesting cause i am wondering if my novarossi has low compresison too. what distance did you measure from the top of the sleeve to the piston? im getting around 3.4mm.
thanks
