large turnouts justify two rounds of qual. Even Vineland went to 2 rounds due to high turnouts.

if you lose the ifmar starts, the day would go faster.

Good call Dom. agreed, if the # of entries goes over a certain amount, then 2 quals, else 3. Loose the IFMAR starts like Doms' suggestion and I bet it could all be done in the same amount of time.

But Aldo/Richie have the last word as they're giving up their weekends for us to race.

IFMAR starts? Is that where you just go all at the same time? Pile up on turn one? Smart guy lets everyone go first and then has clear track in front.

Still on your own clock... I don't see how it's any faster than individual starts...

But I'm down for whatever.

Don't really have any clay 1/8 tires so used M2 Holeshots which we ok(ish). (have a set of M4's but not glued up).

Buggy ran good. about the right amount of power. ESC was setup at Current Limit of 60% and Zero timing.

Didn't notice any brown outs or glitches with the servo or transponder.

I was over-geared (setup for a large track) so need to a second round of testing and drop 3 or 4 teeth on the pinion. Motor was temping out...

Here is a quick youtube of my first effort. Sorry for the angle again (I'm on the lookout for an adjusting head-mount)...

This is for discussion. So discuss! Is there much interest ?

So, no 70C cells, lot of limiter, hard pin tires, 3 teeth too high on the gear, no chassis setup time, and it turned a 12.8 and didn't tear anything up on the track...in fact, compared to a typical SCT4 it looked pretty damn boring. I'd say 'Race 'em'!
