I had a great time racing at Jakes tonight. Had a lot of issues with my buggy
and a lot of help too. Thanks Rickie and Super Dave for the help and advice. By the end of the the night I was getting a little more use to those sweet jumps out there . Can't wait to come back!

Great track Alex. Thanks to Alex and all who helped him.

After all summer racing onroad, I couldn't get my head around the elevations at first. I had a blast when Jay and I got in the groove together for a run. Just doesn't get better than that for me. Marc and Jay put the hurt on the pack in CORR, that was fun to watch. Looked like "Big Midget" got his new ride problems cleared up; we have a few things to clear up ourselves. I didn't even race the Slash for issues.

I'm thinking about boosting the Slash. Early in the CCO season I took 10 degrees off the motor and put 10 degrees of boost in without a gear change. Same heat and a little more torque.

Gearing question for you.

When you go from stock 17.5 to boosted 17.5, how much do you change the FDR? I can convert SC10 spur/pinion answers.

Im running 17.5 blinky in my Buggy in MOD...For short course 17.5 boosted I ran a 24 or 25 with 84. I like how a 13.5 non boosted feels for mod CORR..just more punch for the jumps.

That's what I am thinking, more punch for the jumps...
Racing on-road the faster 17.5 class is easier to drive than the slower usgt 21.5 class.

If you don't mind me asking Alexx. What gear ratio are you running in mod buggy?

25 75 I think...lots of motor timing. It looked like your rear suspension was too stiff not allowing it to grip the track..

Forgot to mention to everyone we have some kool MIP B4.2 drive shafts in stock. and some other Kool guy parts that showed up.

I'm having zero luck selling my 4x4 trucks. Is it still ok to race them in novice since the track is different now?

Dustin , I put in the centering kit and cleaned it really well then weighed it. This is what I got and also checked ride height and shock collars.

259. 491.3
245.5. 487.1

off 13.5. Off 4.2

That must have been one hell of an explosion, because there is hay in places that were no where near that obstacle, and it's so evenly dispersed.
