Im not trying to detour you from jakes just more of a heads up, from what we've seen in the past your trucks might be a bit much for the tighter turns and such
I just wanna see what it's all about, I don't wanna invest in 2wd trucks if I'm not even gonna like racing.

Will you guys ever put a stop to 4x4 on a permenent bases?

There is a thread on the Electric Offroad forum that converts that hyper 4x4 into a 4wd buggy.. Might need to check it out

no they would not put a stop to 4x4 SC. We encourage all types of racing. As Alex and Dustin statyed just will need to turn the power down for the size of the track.

Oh, no, no, no! You will never be turned away because of the type of truck/car you bring in... Like I said, I was just giving a heads up that from what we've seen, the 4x4sc seems to be a bit of a handful at jakes

That eases my mind a lot. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Can you rent/borrow the transponders from jakes? Can you run without one or is it a must have?

I got extras if you'd like to borrow one. Having a transponder in your car makes it much easier on tne race director, so he doesnt have to hand count and possibly miss a lap or hit the key a little late.

Its not required, but nice to have

Good luck out there. 60/hr sounds like a lot, but I imagine it is Union related with associated dues and the cost of living is retarded. Don't piss off the "families" either. Lol.

Throwing this out here to see if there is any interest?

Wanting to go back a few years and start a stock slash class, stock meaning only thing you can change is the rx so you can run normal radio used for other classes.
2 cell Lipo or 7 cell that comes with slash will be allowed. All other components, esc, brushed motor, servo, chassis, tires, any other things that are able to be hopped up such as transmission, shocks, etc. can not be changed.. I think these 3 are the only currently available models:

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...attery-Charger
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...z-Radio-System
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...attery-Charger

I like that Dakar Edition the best. I think this would be a fun cheap class, and I know there are a few new racers coming this year that just got slash's.

Do the new MRT transponders work there? ran into a problem at the plex with the old mrt, it counts like 5 laps and does count for 2.
