I think its a little of both.. Don't know anything about his personal life, but I know for me personally, becoming a dad really takes up a lot of the time I used to spend doing r/c stuff. Plus there's quite a few up and comers starting to take up spots on those a-mains...
It's almost to the point right now for myself, that I'm not sure how much racing I'll actually be able to do this summer because of my daughters activities. Actually been contemplating getting out of nitro and buying a TC, and just running at D&M when possible

What classes are being run at jakes? I have a B4.1 and would like to start racing it... I was planning on going down there this weekend/ next week and run on the track. I'm in manhattan, and have yet to ever had a chance to run on a real rc track. Gonna be fun!!!
