Yeah I have also. I figured id throw it out there as another option if things go the spec direction. Personally I didn't realize till recently that you can run both types of brushless motors on them.

I agree! Quite a few of us have sunk a pretty good chunk of money into the new speedos just to try and keep up with the fast pace of the "Stock" CORR class at Jake's - it's a fun class and I don't think we should feel guilty for using something that's ROAR legal.

Amain has the speed passion 2.0 and 2.1 speedos that are fully programable for only $130

I've never been much of a tekin guy...the last one I bought a few years back for a crawler popped straight from the package while setting up.....with no pinion on the motor I might add. Speed Passion...oh, they do have their Cirtix esc on sale at their webpage for 60 bones..??

You know, I won a few races in SCT last season with just a old beat up GTB and to tell you the truth I thought I went slower when I changed over to the MMP with all its fancy software. I'll probably be stayin with Novak power....thanks

Yeah it's crazy how that one bad personal experience can ruin you on a brand but I know it can cause it did with me and Novak. Years ago Novak came out with the T series of speedos. They had the T-4 and the T-8. We bought the T-4's and burnt both of them up in short order. Sent them back in and when they came back poof there they went again. I know it was a long time(20 years ago) but I still remember. Tekin on the other hand with the exception of the RX 8's have always been flawless for me.

Until then and until we go to a spec. class where everyone's running these type of speedo's I will be enjoying my boost.
