I don't know much about the traxxas brushless stuff but I had a Slash that my girlfriend's boy was running and it was like that with the 3 presets. I think this would be a good choice if they were to do a spec. speedo class but wouldn't be competitive with the newer speedo's that have the timing features. I will say that I have been pretty impressed with the traxxas electronics durability.

I agree! Quite a few of us have sunk a pretty good chunk of money into the new speedos just to try and keep up with the fast pace of the "Stock" CORR class at Jake's - it's a fun class and I don't think we should feel guilty for using something that's ROAR legal.

Oh I didn't realize that was a spec. speedo.... This kindof reinforces my point that the only way to enforce that rule would be to require everyone to run a spec. speedo. I still think you ought to buy a Tekin or Speed Passion and you see them used in the classifieds all the time for $100 or less.

I've never been much of a tekin guy...the last one I bought a few years back for a crawler popped straight from the package while setting up.....with no pinion on the motor I might add. Speed Passion...oh, they do have their Cirtix esc on sale at their webpage for 60 bones..??
You know, I won a few races in SCT last season with just a old beat up GTB and to tell you the truth I thought I went slower when I changed over to the MMP with all its fancy software. I'll probably be stayin with Novak power....thanks
