Hey Dustin I would rather you run your 17.5 instead of a traxxas 3500 kv . Just kidding, go ahead and try it, see how it pans out.

I was under the impression that the stock slash motor was faster than a 17.5

Default a123 batteries

Does anyone know if a123 batteries are legal or acceptable at club level or acceptable at Jakes and or K.C.? We are looking at getting more battery packs, and these through Max Amps are 4500 mah,and are said to have a 1000 charge cycle capibility, you can even get a 1000 charge cycle warranty. Thats a lot of cycles, and I've seen some other a123 battery to have 30 amp constant discharge. And the charge time is 15 to 20 min. They are the safest to use, they will not catch fire and will not burst. Another nice thing is these batteries DO NOT REQUIRE A LOW VOLTAGE CUT OFF!

Hopefully we can get started a little closer to 7:00p.m. so we can get in 3 heats and our mains. Jake I know a few weeks ago things were a little beyond your control as far as time, so we lost a heat to save time. Thats ok we haven't had any races overthere for a while and things like that happen, looking for things to get back to a smoother pace. Dylan and i will be there around 4:00p.m.Hope to see more faces there racing in all classes, that would be cool for a summer race weekend.Let's git it!
