What is the Kv rating for super stock, 4300? Just in case there are some castle creation drivers out there that may be thinking about running that class.

Or is it even legal to run a Kv rated motor in super stock?

Super stock is 13.5 and they range from about 2700-3400kv so castles are a no go in the super stock.

Kv ratings aren't legal to go by. If I remember correctly, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, Castle motors are wye wound whereas the sensored motors from other mfg's are delta wound. A motor with windings in delta configuration gives low torque at low rpm, but can give higher top rpm. Wye configuration gives high torque at low rpm, but not as high top rpm. The wye winding is normally more efficient.

That being said, I believe that the Novak 4300 would be an exception, as it's actually a 13.5, and the 5800 was a 10.5.

Yesterday I had a flat tire on the interstate. So I eased my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk.
I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic.
They looked so lifelike you wouldn't believe it!
They were in trench coats exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the approaching drivers.
To my surprise, cars started slowing down looking at my lifelike men.
And of course, traffic started backing up. Everybody was tooting their horns and waving like crazy.
It wasn't long before a state trooper pulled up behind me. He got out of his car and started walking toward me. I could tell he was not a happy camper!
'What's going on here?'
'My car has a flat tire', I said calmly.
'Well, what the hell are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the road?"
I couldn't believe that he didn't know. So I told him,
'Hellooooo,
those are my emergency flashers
