Turtle Trax Progress Reports
Progress on the shop and track will be posted in this thread for your viewing pleasure. The hobby shop is done and will be open for business but is still cash only. We have our credit card machine but I'm now waiting on a phone call from the company we're going through to do the final setup to turn it on. Hopefully it will get done tonight, but I honestly don’t know when they will get back to me and I don’t want to make promises that can’t be kept because there out of my control.
We’re still waiting on distributors to get back with us, we have one but they have a $2500 buy in and unfortunately don’t have $2500 worth of stock we can sell in their inventory. They have no kits whatsoever from Associated (and honestly right now nobody does. Associated just got behind in production with all the new stuff coming out) and we can’t sell anything there trying to get us to buy to put on our shelf’s.
The track is coming along slowly. Danny and Gene are hard at the drivers stand right now and it is just about complete. Dirt is being put in the 54x40 box for the track tomorrow and we also have an electrician coming out in the morning to set up the pit area with ample amounts of power and to rewire our breaker box and other little tasks to bring it up to code and to make sure it meets our needs.
There’s a lot to be done still, but the shop is open if anybody needs anything or wants to peek in. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10am-8pm and our number is 770-334-8846. I will update as the track progresses and if we get any new stock in.
And look, I even found the spell check button

Yeah I just noticed that when I saw there was a reply.. I didn't spell check the title
We just got approved as an associated dealer and have a HUGE parts order on the way. They just got some kits there getting ready to ship out and we've got our name in on a couple of them too
The track in person acctualy looks pretty big. I think its going to be more than big enough to have a bunch of fun on

No the shop will be closed Saturday as the whole crew will be in Loganville. We will be here Sunday though.

That was the plan till last week! They schedule to run production at work and the way things are at work I should take advantage of it after all this shutdown that we had lately!
