Makes the car more consistent interms of handling. You can now run softer springs. You can get them from POOKYT, send him a PM or just post it here. When you get the BK Brackets, you have to try Todd Hodge's Asphalt setup, it's very good.

I'm running Numan's setup at the moment and like it a lot. Is Hodges setup on the Losi site as well? I may look at it and give it a try as well. Would be nice to see which one suits my style better before I get to LV. Todd as well as a few others have said asphalte setups will be good for the car if you plan on running rubber as I am.

NOTES: Using BK Brackets on my arms. This moves the shocks out on the arm. This is how I can run such a soft spring. This can be done with 24mm tires but not foam tires that are 28mm.I will take some pics and put them on the site. They are aluminum brackets that have a hole spacing of .275" from center to center of each hole.
BK Brackets-You will need to cut about 1/8" off the shock end to get the correct uptravel since you are moving the shock up on the arm.

I tried the Numan setup before but Hodge's setup suits my driving style better. Both are very good IMO but it really depends on how you drive. I hope this helps

That is a good setup, but maybe possibly dated.

Todd (and Matt) should be at Speedworld this coming weekend; so, I will try to update.

LoL, I'm in western maryland, in a small town, but I travel to Hanover PA to an indoor asphalt facility called R/C Outfitters. They run a really great program there.

Did losi ever come out with 2 deg. rear hubs? Because I just got Andrew Grays carpet setup and it calls for 2deg. rear hubs. Or am I just reading it wrong?

I just got back from the track, I was trying Andrew Gray's setup. I had to run the 2* pivot block, I couldn't find any 2* rear hubs. I was running the setup pretty close to his. The rear was really loose until I made a few changes. I ran standard offset rear hubs, 0*, and I switch from pro squat to anti squat. I also went out on the rear camber link one position on the hub and tower. The rear started to hook up. I think once I get some new sneaks, the car will be dialed. I was running purple/plaids.

Andrew, I know your probably not running carpet yet, so if you get a setup figured out for Mimi's, please share. When I ran a xxx-s, I ran your setup and it a good fit for me.

They do make them sort of.
This part is a sway bar retainer for a Mugen 1/8 scale buggy.
It is made by Racers-Edge.

It is part number PRO5016

They are around $19 for a set of 4.

All you have to do is grind or file a little bit of one of the corners off and they screw right on.

The through hole is threaded metric that will hold the ball on your shock end.

I moved my shock tower up to make the shocks work properly.

These units fit just like the ones in Todd's pictures and they do make the car more consistent and easy to drive. In the front I used 40wt with a 15 lb spring and still used the center top hole.
