chrisman-
what is that car that you posted, not the alex, but the one above that with those angled batteries.
looks like the alex motor mount, yokomo shocks... is it a custom build or something??

The 5.2 seems like more of a Pro car than the 6. It seems to use more heavy duty parts. The 6 does have the longer suspension arms though.

hey chrisman and fellas,
i don't have a seven yet....but i may soon. first off, i really like the idea of not anodizing anything in a color. it's flashy, but so cosmetic and cheesy. the raw aluminum looks functional and precise. just an opinion. no harm meant. second, a few posts back it was stated that the arms for both the 5.2 and 6.0 are interchangeable. does this mean that the long arms will give wider track width, and zero offset wheels will be necessary, or are 6.0 carriers required to set the retrofitted 5.2ttt at 190? oh, and what offset is required for the stock 5.2? both cars out of the box use zero offset wheels , right? ok thanks guys. i'll be checking in periodically.
ok ok. since option parts always need to be a color, (seems like industry standard) how about bronze/copper. could be cool. looks exquisite. ok later.

the 5.2ttt uses both standard and zero offset wheels, the kit comes with two different size hex wheel adapters, so u can use all ur old wheels

Hey Monsoon,
Looks like you on top of things too......![Big Grin](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Yes we can use all the wheels we have .Kinda a waste to chuck the old ones away...That's why the 5.2ttt comes with different hex hubs to offset them...isn't that smart...
.
Seaball,
Anodize or not as long the car handles like a dream that's what it counts....
As for the arms, the long arms uses c hubs and the 5.2ttt does not. Both the car width still retains the same as long we uses the right hex hubs....as mention on top the 5.2ttt comes with different size hex hubs.No worry about the with.Mine sits 185-190mm..
J zone,
K no new bodies until x mas.....heem thats like a few months from now.....
colour....suggestion???>.......you can paint.I can get stickers done too.Soon baby....we get a cool paint job.
Hint!!hint....
Mtyxx,

I know what Monsoon be...Green car...
Hee!!hee!! with flames at the rear of the car...
TQ,
The car is an actual CE4 hopped up with Kai's option chassis.Pretty cool..![Smilie](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/smile.gif)
Apparently Kai makes a few different option chassis.Including the TLO1...yes...Tamiya Man!!!...it looks totally different .Just want to hype this site up a little with a comparison of mid motor machine...
Type S,
No worry abt which car you can get. They both have good tech support from all of us here. All winning set ups would be posted for everyone if asked....he whom keep it to himself is not a team player.![Big Grin](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Stay tune for more pictures...I know pictures are pretty interesting aren't they??....

chrisman:
Where did you find those pics of the CE4 car? Do you have the site address to the company that makes that chassis conversion kit for it? Thanks in advance.
Has anyone here ever had any custom anodizing done by 12-Pak, they advertised in RC Car Action a few years ago. If so how was the quality and about how much $ did it cost?
