Hpi Pro 4
what if you put a oneway in the front to make it RWD but still have brakes up front, that would be fun

Vulso, you need to re-gear for the big track. We are running Monster stocks in the 6.70FDR range on that big track. Also try adding 1 degree of anti-squat...This gives you better traction.I don't know about your springs ,but we run the HPI white's in front and the stock silver in the rear. Also come on down with the ride height...4.5mm front 5.0mm rear. Finally try the standard wheelbase(the big track like it better) and try 5frt 4rear for the droop.
Really the gearing change alone will get you closer to that one second your looking for.
Just come by and use my temp gun to make sure you stay under 170 degrees and you'll be fine.Shouldn't be aproblem our motors were temping at 150 geared like this and we had good top end speed on that long strait.

The diff screw and nut that comes with the Hara kit fit the old pro 4? If so, does anyone know the part # to order one for my car.
Yep it fits the normal Pro 4. On first impression the diff nut seems much better, it's all in one with the plastic holder so it's not as awkward to build the diff and when you screw it in it seems much tighter. One thing I have noticed though is that the screw looks exactly the same.

hey if anyone is looking for a ceramic bearing set for their pro4 give me a PM. i have an extra set that i paid $200 for and never used, still NIB. i am asking for $125 shipped OBO so my loss is your gain. its all 17 bearings that go in a pro4 and let me tell you these are worth it, my drivetrain is soooo freaking free with these in it

hey guys everyone I know with a pro4 is having the same problem does anyone know of a fix for this cause its costing a small fortune
1st problem almost everytime the car is drivin we will break the front bevel gears its like the teeth just fall off even without any hits to the car
2nd this is really enoying the rear pivot ball on top of the rear hub after a few small taps to the rear wheels they shear off in the hub this is happening to everone I know even Nick Morris the top mod driver in Canberra
I heard you can now get alloy bevel gears but they are very pricy are they worth it and will alloy rear hubs make a difference to the pivot balls breaking off
thanks guys
