I got two questions-
1. What's the deal with the little ?chassis stiffener? thingie; is it needed?
2. Anybody have any problems with the one-way's bevel gear stripping; I heard the fix was a plate that braces up against the back-side of the bevel gear. Anyone recall the part # for it? -JB

getting a Pro 4. Worked out a deal and it should be arriving next week.
Do people recommend getting the Spec 2005 front and rear gear sets? I emailed rainbow ten about it but they only have the rear. Cant wait to get it and start to work on it.

JayBee, the answer to your 1st question: The chassis stiffener / brace, is just that. It stiffens the car by re-enforcing the lower chassis and upper deck. It takes flex out of the car. Good for high grip tracks.

Thanks again
That's the only part I missed, the instructions said nothing about it. So what's this stuff about a 2005 version; was something wrong with the original kits? -JB

Well... As far as major goes - the 05' edition has new, updated shocks. The car will have one-piece input shafts (front & rear), a modified upper deck w/ drilled screw holes to help eliminate any chassis tweak and will include a One-way and spool, along with option pivot blocks & pivot block spacers, etc.. The kit sounds like one of the most complete, high end, touring car packages around. You can't miss with this one.
