I am sorry that I have not had a chance to try HPI, or Xenon spurs, but my statement is still correct that Xenon spurs (whether they be under the HPI, Xenon, or Yokomo brand) I just happened to buy Yokomo, and was impressed with the quality. Jonathan.

I know there are several people on this board who wanted to be notified about upcoming races in Omaha, NE. There is a roadcourse race on November 13 and 14th.

You can see the flyer at http://www.hobbyplexraceway.com/www_files/page0005.htm

If you want a higher quality flyer I can PM or email you one.

Nice, is that your home made version? Or will HPI be selling it?

Default Gearing again

Does this sound like I am using the right gearing?

I race on a very small tight indoor carpet circuit (7-8 second lap times)

I am using a 19t V2 peak motor.

I am currently using 48dp 21t pinion and a 72t spur.

Does this sound about or should I be using a larger pinion?

You gearing depends heavily on the size of your tires. To me that gear ratio sounds like it probably is a little low, but could be perfectly reasonable for your track.

You really need to ask the other people at your track what they are running.

check your roll out should be around 18 give or take.
spur 98 and pinon depends on how your car runs in and out of turns.
