i just wish Chad had mentioned that little tip during the Qualifiers! maybe that was sabotage? lol....
we did have a great time (despite my poor qualifying!!), and im sure we will be back soon!!!
and i did pick up some of those swaybars before i left....

just file down the brace holder down a mm or 2 also use the foam tape hpi makes it to put on your bumper on the underside of the batt. brace .

David, we got done somewhere around 10-10:15 I think. There was some small computer hicups that slowed things down a bit. I bet we could have been done around 9:30-9:45 had that not happened. As far as the ROAR deal I am still not sure. Kinda afraid to bring it up as it will cost me too.

the drive home wasnt too bad, except we got home about 3 a.m.!!!! good thing Derek drove! ill prolly volunteer next time...

All: as for strapping tape, you can't go wrong with 3M brand, 898 High Performance Filament Tape (Part no. 7686A12 at McMaster Carr )
Also, note the error in the instruction manual for the battery strap (see picture). Do NOT use the plastic spacers. Also, tighten the posts down as far as possible. In addition you can add the remaineder of the adhesive backed foam to the bottom side of the battery brace (you did cut foam and put in on the posts right????). Correctly installed, your batteries will stay put (AS I have personally tested

Erik - since I got this car used, I do not have the foam pieces that are show in the drawing you posted.
I have put some foam on the underside of the strap itself and I really have to push down to get the clips on, so I know its tight..

Tamiyadriver, LOL. Now I know why I was working as much on his car as I was my own, he was helping you guys. I had to turn my dual rate down to around 50-60% once I moved mine. It seems to carry the corner speed better as well. The silver swaybar seems to make my car push more. That is why I like the copper one for faster rotation on our track. Dont give up on it. Get the setup right and you will be very satisfied!!! Plus the tip Chad gave you is not the only trick on the car! 
As far as getting home that late, I am hoping that we can either start earlier or just run the onroad early in the day and then let the dirt guys have at it later in the evening.

Clint, Walmart has some 8x10 foam sheets in the sewing and fabric/arts and crafts department that is about the same thickness as what the car came with and has stickyback as well. You can get about any color you want too!!

hi
can someone give me some tips on setting my pro4 up on a polished wooden floor as im really having trouble.
ive got the speed but could do with more maybe this is to lack of grip and right setup on the track but who knows i sure dont.
all your help will be much apreciated
