I ended up qualifying 3rd behind two national top ten drivers and finishing 2nd overall with less than an hour on the car. After the event was finished all the other drivers were asking to have a drive as it was so smooth and flowing. Good job to all the guys that made this car happen its awesome.
Thats awesome , saw a 22-4 in some pics of the shootout and was wondering if any were run . Well done , cant wait to run mine in our first clubby for the year next weekend

shorty installed no problem and gonna run it that way for the first day I guess.
Hell, I ran a full lipo stick in my XX4 during it's last runs and it wasn't too bad at all.
why don't you put your esc on the left side of the car, perhaps as further out as possible. this setup seems to have all the weight on the left.

On longer, flowing, high grip tracks where you don't need to get on the brakes hard.

Nice looking rides. Cool to see some places are running 17.5 4WD Buggy. I wish our area ran that class or 13.5.

jsrocket. I'll trade you my yellow wheels for your white ones. Should only cost a few bucks to ship 'em

So soft clicker not good for loose outdoor? Locked is better?

I expect to get my saddle packs soon, and that esc is so tiny and the wires so short that I doubt it will make a noticeable difference moving it temporarily.

Haven't run it yet but did figure that if the balance is way too goofy I would actually just add weight to the right side for ballast.
I'm guessing here but if a saddle pack is 300 grams or so, like a full pack, my 200 gram shorty is only 50 grams overweight on one side and I'd add weight to the other side just for the day and run a heavyweight car.
Already have plenty of motor.
There's no way I'm gonna just sit here and look at this rocket while waiting for saddles.

Ran mine yesterday at a local indoor track. Surprisingly easy to drive but I did break a front tower and hinge pin when it went off the big tripple into a steel pole.

While the breakage was all me Im still thinking a 5mm or so carbon front tower would be an improvement.
