I'm going to get Tekno hexes also, I'm just determining if I want to use the +1 hexes for the slash and sc10 4x4.

Yeah, same as savox servos. I also run the same AE servo with the ofna horn.

I will cain! If the stock pistons are 10x1.2 I can see why my rigs are bottoming out so easy.

For me though, the kyosho 1.3mm x 8 holes have been working great.
You can also modify your 1.2 x 10 hole pistons by sealing up 1 or 2 of the holes. You could drill the remaining out too.

yeah, I am curious for more input on the 1.4 x 8 holes. I know they say they offer less pack than the 1.2 x 10 holes, but, maybe the fact the hole count has more to do with it too? Not sure.

I run the 1.4 x 8 with 40-42 1/2 in front and 35-37 1/2 in rear (Losi fluid). I'm pretty sure 90% people on here if you switched out pistons and they did not know they could not tell the difference.

I've been running the JConcepts Illuzion Hiflo body with +3 wheels and there is still room to spare. No fender rubbing in the rear, but a little bit in the front under full compression. Not a problem in the turns.

So I guess most are just running the regular Tekno aluminum hexes (TKR5571A )? and not the (TKR1654X) with the +1mm offset?

Or if your running +3mm rims you would use the A part so your only 4mm too wide and not 6mm.

1654X are ROAR legal right, with SCTE 0 offset wheels?

yup, the newer hex I believe keeps you legal with AE style zero offset rims. with a lot of AE guys using +3mm rims, you usually can find those for sale cheap used.
