LOL @ some of you guys ! The ONLY needed upgrade on this truck right outta the box is a metal servo horn , thats it .... I have the same stock plastic hexes that came with it and mine is a 1rst release truck .

Your mom is debatable, my mom is debatable.

Aluminum hexes and a metal servo horn are items you want to buy, they are high-risk items to break and have broken on A LOT of these trucks. Everything else is great.

I'd go ahead and swap it dude. I'm a little more scared on the issue because I'm tired of hearing the race director say "He's undefeated on this track, oh wait except for that first race where he DNF'ed".

I have to give a +1 to the RX8 and SMC batteries. I screwed around and reversed the polarity last night and got a nice spark and vaporized one of the prongs of the bullet. Cleaned out the connector plugged them back in and won the Amain.

Just ordered my truck with the RX8 Gen2 and 4600kv. Definitely looking forward to running it in the next few weeks.

What are people's thoughts on sweeping the arms forward? I read the first page but just wanted I hear more about it.

Mine are swept back right now.

I'm on a medium size tight smooth clay track. A few bumps and some in the sweeper but not much. Medium-high traction

That's definitely a kick butt feature of the rx8s! And SMC-Danny there has killer customer service definitely a stand up shop and great batteries!

Both those firms are similar to Tekno in terms of outstanding customer service and great communication with us racers!

Need help with center and front and back differentials. Screws won't bind in. Too thick to get into the gears together. Any ideas?

I think we needs pics, bud.

First thought is the diff isn't built right to seat the diff together properly, with respect.

A pic will really help. Snap a pic of both halves facing and let us see. We'd love to help!

Try making sure the cross pins are set right bottom one notch up and top one notch down.

Arms swept forward is more aggressive steering, I rum my truck and eb48 forward.
