I recommend the ofna aluminum horn over the hot bodies. The hb has been known to eat servos.

Yep I know of 2 people running the 160 amp r10 pro with zero problems. So should be fine.

What esc are you running? What setting do you need help with?

What's the deal when turning the steering at full lock to either side, the inside wheel of either direction you turn sorta free floats a little more while the outside wheel is locked in the direction you have turned. The steering rod where it connects to the hub is where the extra play is. I've never had that in any vehicle I've built.

I noticed the same thing. I adjusted the length of the steering rod and that seemed to help. I can't remember for sure if I lengthened it or shortened it, but I think I made it a bit longer

All you need to do is level the link from the servo to bell crank with a couple washers and a longer screw through the bell crank. I don't understand why that's so hard to figure out lol. I immediately noticed it and corrected it during the build before even powering on the servo.

I know this has been asked and I''m not sure where the hell it is.....Does Tekno plan on releasing aluminum carrier's, knuckle's, and rear hubs? I know that there really not needed but I would like to have them. I would also like to have them on my EB48 also.

Nah it's not the travel adjustment unless its not meant to turn to full lock and has nothing to do with servo, servo horn angle or servo saver it's in the steering turnbuckle where it's mounted on hub not the Ackerman. The inside wheel feels like it hits a pivot point and becomes very loose while outside wheel is fine and tight..

If its off and I turn by hand all way to right or left the outer wheel will be nice and tight and inner wheel you can move way too much. About 20mm of free play on inner wheel.

Now if I dial down the travel so it doesn't turn as far it can be removed but you'd lose a ton of steering and its not my first rodeo I'd say about 20 vehicles and I've never seen this

+1. The steering is fine for any useful angle.

Patient: Doc, it hurts when I do that.
Doctor: Well don't do that.

This motor is a beast. I'm actually going to an rx8 esc to try and tame it down a bit. I'm using a hpi flux q base right now and it doesn't have current limiter or torque control. The punch setting makes the power come on really weird.

Hey bud what are you geared at and about how long is the straight on your track? Thinking of picking up a hw 4700 to have for a spare.
