Edit: about the 4s setup its too much power "depending" on your motor for my application 3s use with the 2200kv motor I had to bump my diff fluid up to 10k rear 12k center and 15k front to keep the power dispersed evenly under full throttle on 4s i felt afraid i would blow a tire off the wheel or snap an axle. if you have a smaller diameter motor or lower kv that is 4s capable and you omit the center brace you could drop down to a 17 or 18t pinion and get reasonable rpm on the wheel without tearing it apart.

Here are the pictures of the prototype. It fit so well that the tool would stay on the shock even if I held on to the shock and turned it over. I'm going to open it up a couple thousanths so there is cleaance for a little dirt or a ding on the hex.

any advantage to running the 17mm hexes? im gonna go aluminum but im deciding between the 12mm and the 17mm... i understand ill only be shopping DE, but a few opinions would be appreciated.
