That was the loosest the track had been all day. The 10 2wd SC from the main before brought all the loose stuff up. We really should of blew it off again.
I had ran green (super soft) DDs in the first round and they didn't look like they'd make it through the day due to the grip so I went to the soft 3D's. I didn't want to glue anything. The 3Ds were great and this actually was the 3rd race day on them. We ran 3 rounds of qualifying and I set a new TQ each round.
That Sting battery is awesome. I kept going after the race for a bit and it didn't seem to fade at all. I got it in preparation of PNB which is 10 minute races.

This is my Tekno on a clay outdoor track here in north FL. The surface is hard packed. The most of the turns had been sprayed with special sauce. We didn't blow the track off for the 4x4's so there's a lot of fine loose stuff on the surface. I was trying to reserve tires so I was running JConcepts 3Ds in blue (soft).
Mine is the TQ truck with the white/blue right & green/silver left body. I'm running mostly box stock build setup. The rear hubs are all the way back (Instructions have you build this way but the setup sheet shows different. I just left it all the way back.), removed center & rear braces, I raised the front to 26mm, install the air control guards, and Tekno aluminum hexes.
Revtech 4800kv 4-pole, 15/44, 10 timing, 65 current limit
Sting Extreme 7200mah/90C
Savox 1258TG

Tekno this truck is fantastic. This is the 3rd straight TQ and win.

A main at Delta RC in Antioch, CA yesterday. Track is high bite clay. Was doing well until getting hacked out of the lead and then kind of fell apart. All the other trucks were Losi.

tough break kevin. looked like ken was going to stop, then when you flipped over he said, "F it" and started again before you got going. ken is a clean driver and i'm sure that was accidental. still sucks though. your truck looked good though.
What tires were you running? they seemed to get more bite as the race went on. traction rolls were non-existent the first couple minutes, then you were fighting them the last few minutes.

oh i agree. he should have waited and craig should have told him to wait. yeah, i was thinking of something like blue pressure points or soft or medium wishbones. i'm sure those tires would be done in a day on that track though, but i can't imagine the pink beams would last either.
