Got to see one of these run last weekend and it looked awesome. Should be out by spring time if you want to save some of that Christmas cash. I'd really like to see how the 4000 does.

I've used this setup on several clay (indoor/outdoor) tracks now and had some others try it with some good reviews. Not a lot to change from the box setup so if you're still running that it might be worth a try.

It also worked well with the stock black front springs.

Been wanting to try them since I saw them as I have always thought of similar concepts, just getting back to the forum and this is the first real feedback I've seen, sounds like people are loving them.

Well this year my Christmas present was a used sct410 that included electronics as follows RX8, pro4 4000kv and savox 1257tg. I've started tearing it down to check for missing hardware, clean, replace bearing, rebuild shocks, and change diff oil. I'm super stoked about this project as this will be my first 4x4sct. So far things are looking good any suggestions as I go though this thing would be much appreciated.

Anyone know if the racers edge body fits. $28 painted. Would make a nice practice body. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...lver-Black-Red

Since your tearing into it, replace the rear diff case with the updated angled one (and 2 bigger bearings) if your truck doesn't already have it. Might as well while you've got it apart.

Replace the outer wheel bearings at least just because you don't really know how long they've been in service and those are the first to go on just about any kit. Avid has a full bearing kit at $1 a bearing, might be worth it to avoid the hassle of cleaning the others.

Other than that, just clean/replace worn stuff. It's a great truck that doesn't really need anything.

i run the SL, a friend was selling his 410 for cheap so i converted it. currently run a 410 and the SL, the SL has been pretty bullet proof, have gone thru a full set of hub bearings but i didnt completely rebuild the car b4 i converted it.
Another friend i race with has a eb48.2, its a true 1/8 scale and is noticeably heavier. For indoor the SL would be my choice, 1/8 scale systems are insane hp on 3-4s, my SL is very controlable on a sct system and 2s. i would say pick up a 410 on here cheap and convert it.

Shark picked up a BCE chassis. Looking forward to reading his reviews on it as he is very thorough.

Me personally I am looking forward to seeing if Tekno comes out with a flexy chassis.

The XP1015 uses a 25T horn, and yes it needs about a 3in extension.

Hey next time we cross paths at NorCal you should check it out and see if you like it. Give it a spin you know. Take care man

So you are running it on a 2s SC system? Which one if you don't mind me asking? With the conversion it is considered a 1/8 scale not 1/10 correct? I have been kicking this around for a while and sounds like a good idea since I have a extra RX8 and another couple short course motors that I can use. Sorry for all the questions

It is the same dimensions as the regular EB48, so yes, it is 1/8 scale. It can run on 1/10 SCT electronics. I am using an RX-8 Gen 2 and the 4600 pro 4 motor.

Default looking to possibly get a Tekno

Will the Losi SCTE and 22SCT rims work with the Tekno? Do they have the same offset?

the SCTE wheels work fine.

the 22SCT wheels from what I am understanding have a webbing you may need to trip. I got some wheels I think are 22SCTs and I can see where they wore a bit there.

SC10 4x4 stock wheels will also work and be legal if using the newer style aluminum hexes.
