Thanks, D
it is most likely your belt slipping... dial your breaks down until the sound goes away

Hey Coyote, I think I should get a royalties check for dropping your name for business
How about a big 'ol hug? Thanks though!
(I don't make any money off the braces. If I did i'd go mantis and make more parts. )

According to some, it needs too many parts, others say, it only needs a few. So I guess it all depends........

On the other hand, my SC104x was just a huge POS out of the box. It was a struggle not to give up on it and it's pretty good now.

Just keep things in perspective.
This.

I have started running VTA at my local parking lot, with my old XXX-S G+ sedan. Fresh out of the box from the last time I ran it in 2003! I seriously put the radio gear in it and blew off the dust, I didn't even change the shock oil! But a little off - about .2 second a lap. So I went back and started reading the 800+ page thread, and remembered all the stuff other guys were trying back then. TL developed that chassis almost all the way to the end. Reading that thread reminds me of this one, except I could just skip to the end if I wanted to.

Depends on what motor you pick. I'd recomend you read this:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/9084333-post1.html

If you decide to run a 540 motor, you'll need a Yeah Racing fan.
If you decide to run a 550 or a four pole motor, you'll need a slipper upgrade. Either the Mac The Knife slipper basket, or the Mantis garodiscs.

I have not broken anything in this truck, nothing, not once.

Sad Panda.

'night all.

Edit: It's a good/bad thing hardly anyone needed pinned setups from me. I have an asinine amount of Rear Topshafts sitting in my box.

FYI Everyone:

A-main
Horizon Hobby
Tower Hobbies

ALL are doing free shipping over $99.00 till the 15th or so.

Edit: Just realized Horizon doesn't matter for this truck... But... meh.

Spend the money on Mantis new center diff, Coyote's chassis brace, Exotek chassis, or something that will make the truck run better.
Do you have the link to Mantis new center diff and Coyote's chassis brace?
