Correct. The Slash front hex are 7mm and rear 5mm. The backspacing of the AE Kmc's & Proline's protrac split six wheels are virtually identical @15mm. So Our Sc10 4x4 can use the protrac wheels as well.
Enough slash talk. Now back to the Sc10 4x4.

yes, the sc10 4x4 wheels will give you the correct width on a slash with the protrak kit with no mods

Now to answer your question...yes, it will fit. I throw all my used race wheels on my son's Slash with the Protrac suspension mod with no worries.
i dont feel that i raz'd him at all, if you ask about something FOR a slash truck than it seems to me that its a Slash question if he asked if the slash wheels fit the SC10 well thats a SC10 question! anyway i didnt mean to offend him and he didnt seem to take it that way. if i did, sorry.

I agree. I thought the point of this site is to help each other. If it's that easy of a question, answer it and move on. If you have nothing nice to say then move on. This is a hobby where ppl learn things no matter if ur an expert or rookie.

Some of the things you might want to look at is a brace to run a loose belt, and clutch basket. I ran a mamba max pro with 3800kv and rx8 with 4000kv. Rx8 setup is really fast. Good luck, any other question let me know.

The problem is that the ESC and motor are running extremely HOT (motor is about 220 F & ESC 154 F). I'm guessing my gearing is the problem. What would you suggest I use instead? By the way, I am using a 2s lipo to power truck.

Thanks,

I wanna say ur system is too weak and will prob go out. You need another esc and motor. And 18 is high. I have a rx8 with a pro 4 4000kv and running 62/13. Maybe try lowering ur pinion gear.

Pinion is to big, 18/62 on 2s is geared for over 42mph. I'd try a 12t or 13t.

With the right gearing the VXL stuff will work. Not as well as some other stuff but it will work well enough.... Properly geared.....

I have some pages to read...

I hate this season... but it's paying. Retail. Blows.

I've cleaned up my truck and am considering putting it away for the winter. I cannot afford the prices that would entail to properly get back into racing style, practice to be competitive and succeed without quite a bit of money on track time alone. It's not in the cards. I may be finding myself a couple video games or take up knitting... I have no idea.

hm... Maybe I won't eat lunch and use that money...
