What the manual doesn't explain is that if you use the optional 19t pulley the described tensioner settings will allow the belt to be loose. (RaceCrafter)
Use the high-torque slipper pad, #91170, on the outer slipper hub only when using 550 motors.

It should be easy to do. It is just removing parts that you don't need for winter and putting them back on for the outdoor season.

@hondafixer
yeah they recommend the 48 pitch gear and the stock slipper pads for a 540 motor
and for the 550 motor they recommend the 32 pitch and the high torque slipper pad on the outside, so you will use the stock slipper pad on the inside.

I have a Chris Jarosz setup in it from OCRC

10/5 diff and I went 35/30 in the shocks. I see that he has also tried 60/5 in the diffs and has mentioned that it settled the truck down. I'm going to try that as soon as I get some 60k fluid

Thank you for the input

i guarantee you it was the 5mm under the ballstuds that affected 98% of the bodyroll change you saw, yes the 35wt helped, but it was mainly the altered roll center.

which is why i keep saying to everyone, start with chris jarosz's setup!!!

What tires are you running? I would like to go to GJ (I live in Gunnison) within the next 2 weeks to try out some racing. =D

I got my SC10 4x4 setup this weekend.

Aoh

35W in ft does deliver way less roll , the shims under the ft camber studs are for smoothing out the steering a little .

Roll control is also much better switching the ft ball stud to outside mount position on tower...

I'm sure Chris's set-up performs well with sway bars but we don't have those to tune with yet ...

I dont know how you tell the difference, but the ones that came with the kit are the standard ones because the part number is 9063

The regular pads have a big center hole. And the High torque have a really small hole in the center.

You can use the std pads even with the 550 motor, no problem.
