I'm about 3.25-3.5mm. I do have an extra washer behind the thrust bearing though, don't know if that makes a difference, guessing it does a little. Nice to know a different spring is out there, I hate this spring.

I run Hobby People 2S 35C and I love them. There are local Dealer reps who really "talk" like human beings. and want to fix shit for you. Not call centers, 1 guy. I love it; and Cheaper than my venom shit.

But you're absolutely right. T/P all the way. Just wish I could throw down 129.99 for those G6 race packs right now. I like to keep at least an arsenal of 5 packs and... that's a price tag.

Edit: All of my Flight Packs for my Electric Planes are T/P lipos. 65 bucks for 65C 2250's etc. I wish that T/P could get the price anywhere "near" that 70 dollar mark. They'd make a killing off us guys who are tired with this crap.

I've been running the Peak 45c packs with great results. I've also tried the turnigy 50-100c packs...they have serious punch!

Anyone try out these diff gears?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=p5197.c0.m619

And will this pin work for the pin mod?

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSKN3&P=7

or this one?

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNYZ3&P=7

Or anyone have a direct link to the one you used? Thanks

I used a Traxxas Hinge pin. It doesn't need to get complicated. You can use a wheel pin from your SC10 4x4. But we just beefed up a 'little' bit.

Okay. I feel really dumb asking this.

My Spektrum 6030 JR spline Servo:

It 'will not' align. I am using the transmitter to send the server 20/25 points either direction to get the spline to line up for a vertical mount with the servo horn.

Setting the Transmitter at zero and trying to align the servo to a vertical servo horn is impossible. I have to send the servo so far one direction that it actually loses 'alot' of steering in whatever direction I compensated with. It's seriously sitting at Zero, and exactly 20 points either direction (on transmitter) will make it line up.

I've done hundreds of servo alignments. This servo is pissing. me. off.

anyone have a 6030? Till now i've just pretended I didn't have this problem. Now that my truck is drivable. I'm getting back into this.

I used the wheel pins that came with the truck as I had extra ones from when I replaced the wheel hexs with the FT ones . A 5/64 drill bit fits perfect .
