Dang really marcus 10 up front.

Just got the thing put back together from pinning it, now I have to rip it apart to switch out the front diff oil .....

oh well back to the garage .

Glad I have the day off to wrench on it , was hoping to go run some packs through it. Only packs i will be running today will be through my hitachi R&R ing screws

got anything else for me before I put it back together

Not sure why anyone would not do the pin mod. Once the parts are modified the truck goes back together with or with out the pin installed. If you don't like the pinned set-up then remove the pin and enjoy your new lightened top shaft.

Easier than the tutorial CraigMBA did like 7 pages before... I think it can't be done.

Use a drill bit close to the size roll pin you choose.

I used a 3/32 spring roll pin, and should of stopped at 3/32.

guys Dakotas sct ten 4x4 has all kinds of upgrades that very few people can even get their hands on so don't sweat it

Ok Had some time to run some laps. I really like the Pin mod but i can honestly say the truck still does not have the Snap out of the corners like my losi! Any help on this? Or what am i missing?

Clutch basket?

Why did you not use the PRO4 in the sc10?

i am currently geared 14/58, but am not sure if this is going to be enough. i could always add a tad bit of timing.

Novak pro Esc Novak 5.5 550 geared 15/62

Novak pro Esc Tekin pro4 4000 Geared 14/62

Truck just does not have speed out of the corners..

Iam using the High Torque slipper pad with vented hub..

Castle 1415 550 Motor 4pole
Standard pads
Vented hub
Pinned shaft

- Still had to loosen the slipper. Blew up my idler. (stated the slipper needed to be loosened for pinned shafts 5 pages ago)
