So after seeing Marcus' type of slipper discs, I decided to try it on my own before making an upgrade to the slipper.

I had some spare perfboard laying around from the last project I did, and decided to build a slipper.

It's made out of epoxy cast fiberglass, cut with a cutter and a pair of pliers, and drilled with the help of Dad's fellow Makita (12 y o now, but still like new):

It works GREAT. The truck doesn't wheelie, but the post-corner throttle has skyrocketed, acceleration has increased a crapload, and it's overall much faster. With the spring set at a more loose setting.

Marcus, can you PM me the price+shipping to 17600 Spain, please? Yours MUST be better than mines, and that means they'll be even more impressive. DO WANT THEM

I have friends who went to the ROAR Nats and the rules say you can do a lot of things in "Mod" class... My friend was saying that the Team SC10 4x4's had some "Not available" aftermarket items on them...

to many times you here people say "well they could drive anything fast because of who they are" ......really .....look at it this way they are driving against the top level competition and beating them so at there level they can beat the best with an sc10 4x4 ...so then at our level mostly club races and regional races ...we can do the same .....just my opinion ....the sc10 is good and if driven right can beat any oof the others ....i was skeptical and had openly said i would sell mine if i ran 2 races and it was just un drivable ....i was pleasantly surprised that not only am i loving it ...it beats losi as well .....soap box stowed and locked and cocked

RC's truck has saddle packs and a carbon fiber tube brace going from the top of the motor area to the front mount. A fan the blows on the motor through a hole cut in the chassis. Not sure of the drivetrain but I am sure there is some kind if slipper fix they are running. Orion has a new 550 motor they are all running so I am sure that helped everyone go faster.

Sounds just like the same truck Kinwald was running. He said they were passing it around. It's pinned.

OMFG that fan is GINORMOUS!

Pinning the front pulley must of fixed the slipper since they are now running 550 motors.
