thanks. im considering switching over to a 5.5/6.5 with a RS Pro (with the saddle configuration) since it looks like they can be ran reliably been running a tekin 4.5 and RX8...

not as a driving characteristic, but a structural one. there's nothing on the chassis to counter the belt tension. it's almost like a string on a bow.

They designed the belt tunnel to "float", and the chassis to flex,,,,, But they didn't take into account non pro drivers to "lawn dart" the truck,,,, which causes the chassis to flex more than the belt tunnel can absorb, causing it to bend, and apparently throwing the belt off. Now, of course, those of us that can drive,, don't have this problem.

yeah mac, put me with the first group! just concerned about moving that flex to another component , I havent had a belt come off yet but am quite surprised how much the belt cover moves when you push the towers together by hand . Cant wait to see results of chassis stiffening brace .

i havent had any belt issues either, but i feel that bar keeps it more consistent.

i think im finally comfortable enough to actually break down an end to change diff oils while at the track.

I just got my FT shock shafts for front and rear today.....do I need to do new seals with using these shocks even if my factory seals arent leaking?

also what greese are you guys using when repacking bearings?
