AE's old 13mm 1/8 springs should work. Dunno if they've got any light enough for the truck, though.

They are too long, you can't get the ride height down to a useable level. And the stiffest front spring is about the same stiffness as the stock rear spring, so you can't even really use the old AE front springs on the rear shocks. I suppose you could cut some coils off the old AE front springs to get the length better, but cutting coils make them even stiffer. And they rub on the 4x4 shock bodies anyway, the inside diameter is different.

I still think the best bet for ultimate adjustability is to change over to 1/8th scale BB shocks. Then you have plenty of piston and spring combinations available, as well as better rough track handling.

The kits are instock, as well as all the individual springs are in stock.

Didnt include the blues since we have them already but they are PN 91075. Hope this helps.

Blue, front and rear. I went to the yellow in the rear on mine though.

The Losi Big Bores I installed when I first built the truck have been great. Buggy front and rears. "55" pistons front and rear, 35wt front and 30wt rear oils, and am using the soft red springs at the moment, which are about .2 softer than the kit springs. I have the option to use the Losi's stiffer springs if needed, but with my super bumpy local 1/8 track, I need the softies.

To get the length needed, I used a 5mm internal limiter in the rears and a 2mm external limiter in the fronts. The shock ends bolt right into the arms, and at the tops, all that is needed is the Losi bushing and a 5mm thick spacer behind them.

If you guys want a stiffer front spring, try cutting a coil off the stock blue ones that came in the kit, we did this in testing before we had the yellow front springs.

Wouldn't it be better if you used thicker weight shock oil vs a stiffer spring?

Can you explain some more?

I'm guessing we are trying to eliminate body roll.

Would it better to run a stiffer spring with lighter oil or lighter spring with heavier oil.

This is what I'm trying to accomplish personally: I want my truck to absorb the terrain so I can fly over the bumps at full throttle. I run on a loamy, bumpy track with a few jumps.

Not a good idea IMO, a light spring with a heavy oil is going to make the shock slow and the truck feel "slow" in reacting to the bumps. Springs and oil both need to be adjusted accordingly, IMO. Bumpy track = lighter spring w/lighter oil. Light oil lets the light spring be able to rebound the shock fast enough to absorb the bumps.

SC10 4x4, body roll = bars, but we all know that
