That's why you order all the springs.
The coated shock shafts will give smoother shock action. The bodies are hard coated so they will has longer. A little smoother too. You could just upgrade the shafts.

that's what I did on my 2wd and wound up only using 2 springs out of both the front and rear kits.

I'm thinking the yellow front spring should make this truck tits.

I will probably end up running the kit springs.

I think so... Mine have the bearing set deeper in to one side than the other...

If mine are installed backwards, they come VERY close to rubbing the mount, and have seen them actually touch as well.

rcplanet does 2.99 shipping. throw in a couple HT slipper pads with those springs while you're at it. you're going to need them in the future anyways.

im not a racer yet, just a frequent track member, so i wouldnt know the difference in the shock coatings. i dont think 130 is justifiable(spelling?). you're better off spending that money on another set of tires and another lipo for practice time on the track.

They cost more so they make you cooler

The FT shocks are hard coated. It makes the shockes smoother and the coating will not wear off like with the stock bodies.

If you're not crazy about staying up on your car and keeping it uber free don't wory about them

The IFMAR World Champ runs them on his truck so we must all need them right?

Good to see springs are finally out. Not going to pay $9 shipping when I only need 2 pairs of springs though. Hopefully they make it to the LHS soon.

Anyone running a thunder power 540 in this truck? I'm wondering how good the new Z3R motors are?

Exacty.... Whatever sells upgrades!

I've ran them both, and I've noticed no difference at all. Ive been racing for 6 years. It's all a sham. There are some options that are worth it, but not too many.

speaking of mods worth the $... what about these light weight top shafts? is there a significant difference in reduction of rotational mass?

I'd be more worried about them holding up to someone cranking down their slipper!
