+1 . First place to start is your tires. You can find yourself chasing a setup if you have the wrong tires. I'd suggest getting in touch with the fast guys at the track(s) you plan to attend and see what they recommend for tires throughout the day.
for me out here, a tire that works well enough in most conditions seems to be the proline blockades in M3 or M4 compound depending on how dry the track is.

delema on what to do with
I have looking a t getting back into off road racing again but just been difficult to choose which to go with. I was thinking of the team kit (900004) , factory team kit (900010) or the SC10 factory team 2 wheel drive. No the team kit (90004) his discontinued however is at a great price for $249.00. factory team (900010) at $349.00 and 2wd factory team at $300.00ish.
Now is the team kit just as good as the factory team minus the aluminum parts?
Thanks for your comments in advance.

Get the Team kit for either trucks..
All the important parts needed are included.
Worth the extra expense compared to buying later separately.

I noticed that a fewguys that comment on this thread list SCT410's as their vehicle. Don't mistake my asking because all your help is greatly appreciated, but should I stick with the SC10 4x4 or go with another ?

I just ordered a Tekno sct410. The sc104x4 is a great truck especialy indoors! But outdoors in my opinion you need a heavier truck. I think the Tekno is a better all around truck but I'm keeping my sc104x4, it's an awesome truck.
I set up a losi 8 for sc and my sc10 will take it on lap times and more consistent out door I have a friend bet me car for car sc410 I look at his lap times and seid no his best 33 mine 31

I would suggest you put him on your ignore list. Or quietly ignore him.

It is, but not as bad as suggesting a Team kit and then describing a Factory Team kit......a little odd coming from someone who claims to give the BEST SC10 4x4 advice on here.
