Not enough time , just the extra VTS pad..

Wanted to slam the servo as well ...

Also replaced his front bearings , checked all the screws ect .

he switched arms on the 2w Sc 10 you built & practiced...

Scotty is a great driver, I've admired his skills for years. Mike brown is a bad ass too! The Brown's are one cool family, there would be no convenient RC around here without them that's for sure!

OK all I am getting close to commit to attending the 2013 ROAR 8th Scale/4wd SCT National in PA at LCRC. If I do go I will be running the 8th Scale Electric and 4wd SCT classes with my associated chassis'.

What set-ups and hop-ups work best on medium grip large 8th scale tracks? The LCRC doesn't look too large and the videos of the Short Course classes look tame enough so now it is about tires and set-up.

I just ordered the RCShoxs V2 Diff and 2-stage pistons. I am planning to run one shorty pack centered and go for as light as I can get and as balanced as possible. ROAR rules show that Mains and Qualifiers are 6 Minutes so no problem with battery size. I will run the yellow springs all around. I am planning to use JC 3D's for tires.

Looks like Brian Kinwald and Max Flurer are registered already. Also Dakotah Pfend and Ryan Lutz. I wonder if Ryan Cavalieri and Ryan Maifield will attend and race 4wd SCT?

I did order some .5mm Washers from A-main for stock, but now have to wait for them to arrive. Guess I shouldn't have bought the kit off FleaBay. Must be OLD stock.
Don't beat yourself up too hard, I recently ordered two diff rebuild kits from amain to fix leaking diffs. Both only included .2 sun gear shims. Called AE & since my truck is under warranty, they are sending me two sets of .5 shims and also new diff cases. The tech asked me what color the metal inside diff cases were & after I responded brass, he proactively included the cases. Just figured I'd share that last part incase anyone else suffering from leaking diff & .5 shim alone didnt help. Apparently the diff cases must've gotten an update as well.
