Hello Krio
I have a brand new sc10 4x4 and have this same issue with steering trim. It happened with my stock servo which failed. Bought a much better servo and had it installed. Still losing trim. Bump wall and its going left. Adjust trim, bump another wall and its going right. Can you provide more details regarding lube of the servo saver? I bet this is the problem. Confident that the servo is installed correctly especially since the same problem was happening with the stock servo and new servo.
Thanks

I have never lubed mine, and this problem does get very annoying!

Sounds more like your servo mounts are moving...

Maybe a stripped servo horn..

Grease just makes dirt stick, clean & dry is better...

Lock tight servo saver nut.

Get the manual if you don't already have one. I still use mine but i also have times of short term memory loss

It came with one when I bought the truck. I'm so glad it did. I would be lost without it.

I usually print out the manuals and put them in a binder in those clear plastic sheet holders. Can then save the real manual if I have it.

So, I pulled the old SC10 off the shelf after running my Tekno for a while. I dropped in a monster horsepower 5.5 with a 16t pinion and did a few little adjustments and to my surprise I was running some very good times. It's nice to be out there and be able to hear myself think (the tekno is ridiculously loud). I forgot how well it gets around the track. With the Tekno I was running 17.5 - 18.4 laps with a pro4 4600 and the SC10 was posting 18 - 18.6 even with the 5.5. Granted this was just practice but average lap times during the races are 18.5 - 19.5 for the main winners. I still don't have any clicking issues and have only broken the bellcrank.... once. And to think I started to doubt Associated.

Hey guys I've been out of the game for about a year and want to get back into it. Running exotech on the OG FT kit. Anyone try the pro4 HD 550's? Was thinking about going with the 4300kv with my RX8. I currently have a Revtech 4800 it was nice but liked the torque of the pro4 540 4000 and the Revtech over heated on me in my last main. Was thinking a higher Kv 550 would get me the top end speed with the extra torque behind it and be able to keep temps down.

Does anyone have any input on running without the belt covers? I run on clay tracks mostly. I saw a mod with a carbon fiber mount for the front pulley. Any more info would be great as it looks like somthing I would like to try.

I am running mine without any belt covers. I removed the rear cover completely.

yeah, I saw a buddy do this years ago and the idea made sense. He also would split the binders and put an image on the fronts for each side. usually similar cars, etc.
