They are not without value. The titanium nitrided finish is much harder and the ball stud will never wear out. And they look pimp.

What you need is bigger diameter washers under the ball stud. This will spread the load out and you will bend the stud less often. I'll try to get you a part#.
Thank you on the ti ballstud info and please when you get a chance post or pm me on those washers.

With the pure adenaline rush i got today running my SC10 4wd with the Copperhead R 550.
I dont think Id want it any faster. Tires ballooned like crazy...haha

It's gonna be so cool to race with this setup. Because another guy here is running the same system in the Losi 4wd.

I jus got done wiring my Novak Activ8 and 550 4.5... I definitely revs harder than the 550 4.5 SC4x Tekin.. OOOOOOOOOH Man, I can't wait to drive it... Unfortunately I'm waiting on a bunch of belts -_-x.. Mine finally stretched at the most inopportune time...

Havoc is performing way good.
Using it with the Novak 550 4.5 12t/ 62s,Reedy 5700 65c saddles

Motor & Esc running cool, 130 degree..

My driver is very pleased with his new ride...

Already turning faster laps then with his old ride.

Orange is getting her done..

I'm jus worried the havoc wouldn't be able to handle the load of the 4.5 over time. Got some pics I'm about to post now, half way done... started modding my belt covers while I was waiting on some stuff to set... o.O

Here's where I started to get this in Wild_Cherry...

Had to do massive dremeling to the rear chassis brace.

Stock vs my work.

What made hard to fit was the poorly placed capacitors, or the inability to move them. I preferred my old Novak GTB setup personally, but this thing is gonna be a monster.. It's much smoother than the Tekin RX8/SC4X 4.5 combo, I can already feel it in the trigger.

What I had to do was build a small bracket to put into the chassis to raise it JUST enough for the capacitors to clear the chassis. If it was the plastic chassis, I wouldn't have had to at all, and could have jus dremeled the plastic rear brace on the inside to slide it in easy to work with saddle packs.

(future reference for that Cherry).

It looks higher than it actually is, the ESC is just massive. It's probably only 1/4" to 3/8" higher than if it were resting on the chassis itself.

And the finished product

The Power on/off switch even had a big enough mounting hole to fit nicely between the brace and on the cover itself.

If it still doesn't work, let me know. I can take a picture and describe how to get the Activ8 to fit. It'd be super easy with the center plastic chassis.

As for the 8, it won't need a fan lol, my Tekin RX8 never even got warm.
