Well the R10 pro 2-3s worked out really good with the pro4 4000. My fastest lap was 17.548sec so I'm in the competitive range I reviewd some recent race numbers for 4x4 sct and the fastest I saw was 17.2 but Mike B. Said he can run high 16's with the pro lite. Then I had a piston screw come un screwed. I did use blue lock tight but perhaps not enough. Now I've got tear them all down and make sure none of the others are backing off.

All, who's saying the SC10 4x4 doesn't work good at a large 1/8 track?????? Currently Max Flurer is TQ at the Psyco Nitro Blast (he TQ'd and won last year also). This track is freaking huge with some seriously big jumps and is getting really rough.
Max's best lap was 55 seconds - mine on the other hand was 70 seconds. LiveRC is covering the race, you can watch it live.
I will admit, very few SC10 4x4s.

Is it outdoor? or a large groomed indoor? I just looked it up, looks like the biggest indoor track I have ever seen.

Dude, I just looked over the entries. I only recognized one name besides max. Not saying the rest are noobs. But they are not the better AE, Losi, Tekno, Durango etc drivers. Looks like a few bigger names at the even. Looks like they are running ebuggy and nitro butty/truggy. Adam Drake, came. Thats cool.

I've heard it said on here several times that the truck sucks at large tracks. Seems to be the golden rule on here. There are always exceptions to every rule. I personally love the truck reguardless of venue. It's a great RC.

Mines fine. Is it Rockstar awesome like my 2w? No way. But good enough.
I "found" a better picture of BKs setup. For more killer shots, become Facebook friends with Short Course Showdown.

- The Icon motor is back
- You can see the 20 gram weight to offset the motor
- Dual 2s shorts in parallel - BK reads RC Tech!

I wonder what kind of run time BK's getting with those cells.

why dual shorties? Run time? Weight? It does "look" sweet. still cant figure out how the servo is mounted. I dont see the screws on top.

Servo mounts with b4 style servo mounts that he drilled the lower plate to hold. Look close.

I thought those were dual 1s packs but by looking at the wiring I think they are dual 2s packs so the mah would be double? Is that correct?

The picture I posted was from today. The earlier pictures were from a week ago. I feel like one of those guys doing F1 spy shot commentary for changes from the last race.
The 1s batteries are 150 grams each and 6800mha.
The 2s batteries are 211 grams each and 4100mha (8200 in parallel).
For those keeping track, He added 120 grams to the front of the truck plus the 80 he already had plus the carbon fiber plate (trust me that much carbon isn't free on the scale).
That carbon plate must take the chassis flex down to almost nothing. BK cares a lot about chassis flex, I'll try to find the pictures of the XXXs sedan he skeletonized about 10 years ago to increase flex.

Dang man BK is doing work on this chassis. I love witnessing other peoples creativity. Now he just needs a motor that's capable of pulling that much weight. I personally think thats way to much weight for a 2 pole motor. But what do I know.

Well looks like all the room is taken up in that truck what next duct tape a few rocks to the chassis and see if that works
