[QUOTE=Jordan Anderson;11159602]Yes, the Exotek chassis with the Exotek saddle pack mount allows you to mount the ESC further forward on the chassis:
Actually you don't need the exotek chassis to do that. I ground away the lip on the front upper chassis brace (one over the servo) and was able to slip the saddle pack strap under there, then mount one bracket behind the packs. Gave me alot more room, but in the end was not worth it.
Scaled the truck with 4 scales, one under each tire. Only went from 46% front weight to 47% front weight, lost like 10g, but the main thing the mod hurt was driveability. It felt like the truck was much less stable in the air, and around tight bends. Having the weight of the batteries more distributed front to rear in the center of the chassis makes the truck much easier to drive and jump.
That being said, I don't have the exotek chassis, so it may not apply there.

On these trucks, they're built like race cars in a sense. They have a front clip, center clip, and rear clip. Basically the center clip only holds the esc, receiver, and batteries, but is more or less the foundation of the truck.

if you run indoors and have an rx8..
the rx8 fits perfect there..
because you dont run the plastic tunnel, its not needed.
2 guys that are super fast at my track have been running it this way for months
no problems. looks sick too
has anybody else on this forum raced against Brian Kinwald?
or, just cut out a slot in the cheap tunnel part not the beautiful rx8

No. I guess it was not nearly as interesting as that. It was just that boring square piece in between the front and rear chassis pieces

Nothing to see here, carry on

Hey Guys,
My son and I are in the process of setting up our SC10s. I picked up a few Orion 6500 90c lipos here. However, my venom pro charger only charges @ 5A max. Is there any longevity or performance impact of charging my lipo @ 5A? Should I perhaps invest in a different charger that can support > 5A? Let me know your thoughts. Your help is greatly appreciated. Happy racing.

No affect on performance, just painfully long charge times.
