It's a bit technical track but has a big jump that need some speed to clear. So something faster than 7.5 isn't really necessary?

Ok, guys, I can't keep up with all the info that's in this thread.

If you see something that should go on the first page, PM me and I will add it, usually within a few hours mon-fri. I usually don't check the board on the weekend.

When you send me a PM, please also specify the post number that the info is in so I can give that person the credit.

Craig

Hi, Thanks for the response, please explain "capacitor", where and how exactly do I install it and what capacitor shall I get?. The Savox servo is brand new, it was never in the 2WD. Thanks once again.

ANYONE?
i ran my brand new lrp 550 4.5 with my mamba pro second weekend out the rotor crapped out. the motor still worked but you could hold the pinion and gas it and the pinion wont turn. i just put in a new rx8 and a tekin 550 4.5 i should have done this along time ago. runs perfect made a whole weekend of running with no issues and the esc comes off the track at 115 degrees wow the mamba would routinely come off at 150 to 160 deg. also seems like my servo is much quicker and powerful now with the rx8.

You should be running the 32 pitch gears with a 550 Motor.

Of course depending on tires and track surface, a 7.5 540 with 18/93 gearing will spin the tires quite a bit. I've run it on indoor clay, outdoor 1/8 track fluff to 1/8 outdoor super high bite. (I do recommend high bite surfaces to be geared down sometimes even to 16t)

Sounds like you assemble it incorrectly, check instructions..
No way the CvD pin could come out otherwise...

It's pretty difficult to assemble the pin that goes into the outdrive correctly, considering the end user is never the one to install the CVA pin.
