I like the FT version of my b4.1 but I do not own nor want to buy any saddlepacks that only fit one car when I have many.

The FT can be configured either way. Stick or saddle. If your set on putting your mwntioned parts on the truck and you don't want saddle's then I say go ahead and pick up a used standard kit for cheap and put the stuff on that you want. You can always get the chassis brace on e-bay for cheap..

This works good. Just drill a small hole, just big enough to get an antenna tube into. Put a drop of ca glue on it and your good to go. Looks like it was meant to be there.

Just an FYI for the guys not wanting to go to saddles because they won't "fit"..... I run mine in my SC10 and b4.1, you just line them up end to end. In reality... It gives you a whole different weight placement option if you put the foam inbetween the cells

I have seen people drill a hole on the right reart and mount an antenea, but I guess you was work for you

I'm going to be getting my first SC10 4x4 and I have a question. Can I just run my normal 2s LiPo's that I run in my 2wd SC10? Does the size fit? I know this seems like a dumb question, but I've never run anything 4x4. I've just seen that nearly everyone does the saddle pack conversion, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for the help.
