I'm really liking my 4wd right now, been practicing with my throttle adjustment at 100% with a Tekin 4 pole 4600. My lap times are becoming more consistent and my jumping power is great. Figured if I can drive smooth and kinda flick the trigger with full power through jumps, it's a great advantage.

Durango parts should be as easy to find as Associated parts. Durango is with one of the largest distributors in the country. I can't imagine a hobby shop not doing business with Great Planes.

With the castle 3800kv motor yes, with the sidewinder esc no..... Unless you live where its really cold that esc won't last very long and will probably reach thermal alot. A few have gotten away with it but I wouldn't recommend it....

None of our local tracks stock their parts , guess and a big issue with that ride .

another issue

Before Ae made the TEAM upgrade kit available .
Durango was the best 4x4 Sc you could buy .(IMO)

But those days already have past as the Ae has caught up & gone by Durango in performance on the track .

Ae's Sc4x4 is a bit
faster now on the track with all the upgrades ....

Would seem to be a even bigger issue then no parts hanging on the wall if you break one .

Slightly pointless to post a SC10 product in the SC10 4x4 thread, don't you think? The shocks are entirely different.

I just wanted to drop you guys a note here to say that our world famous orings for your SC10 4x4 are always in stock, available through our dealer network and soon to be available with our complete line of products through Horizon Distribution.

A huge thank you to YOU here at RCTech, the AE team and to (former AE driver) Kody Numedahl for believing in our products for the SC10 4x4!

Ok, so last night was the first time I have raced the truck on outdoor clay (night racing). I will try not to go on a rant, but this may be the worst vehicle I have driven in 20 years. I dont see how something can handle this bad. So I assume I am missing a very important setup issue. I think the core main issue is, it just it toooooo responsive to my radio. As traction came up it became undrivable. My best laps where when it was dry and slicker. As traction came up, it became undrivably darty. I would barely tought the steering at high and low speeds without major steering. Kinda felt like the truck was an off road truck on indoor carpet. I would not setup for any jumps because any minor correction made the truck pitch all over the place. I have heard the truck has alot of mechanical gain in the steering and am hoping that if I slow down the steering, it wont be so insane. If sc 4x4 is just this way, then I will go back to buggy. Also, I could not get any power to the ground. Anything past 1/3 throttle and the truck would become unstable and undrivable. And I am running a 540 7.5 motor. Also, something else, if i ever tried to punch it, the whole truck would kind of twist. Not really spin out, just twist. Like the wheels we fighting each other. I check everything and it all looks to be smooth. And off jumps the truck seems very bouncy. Like super ball bouncy, not just a little. ok, here is my setup.

1.2 pistons front and read.
middle top on all shocks
inside bottom front outside bottom rear.
35/30 front / rear oil
30k/7k diff oil
blue front springs, yellow rears (kit)
1/2 oz under the pinion
3 washers front inside. 0 washers rear inside
blue sway bars front and rear
rear linkage inside/middle
front linkage outside
belt tensioners at the middle position.
servo Airtronics 94358

** I have the team addition WITHOUT the upgrade kits.
radio steering none. Just set the end points. I dont have expo, so i cant adjust that.
