Bunch of questions on how many clips,
AE rubber bumper plus...
4mm in front
5mm in rear

Had 4 in the rear like the front, but found that I was still able to make contact if I gave it a he-man squeeze to compress the rubber a little as I'm sure it does if landing on one wheel or wrecking.
Maybe that has to do with the lower shock connecting to the a-arm hole to the inside on the rear and outside on the front... but that's what it needed.

Its been over half a year with the same clips, none lost.

This weekend I'm picking up a bigger cone grinder bit than I have now so I can take a little material away from where the cva makes contact and get some travel back. Been waiting to get motivated on that and I think this is the weekend.

I did this some and was able to go down to 6mm of limiters, but like you I think I need a better size cone to get better results.

I've had clips on the 7 months. Never lost one

So that is pretty much maximum drive to the rear without flipping over backwards.

The pins do wear over time so you might try turning the pins a little to make contact in a new spot on the ball.
My diff is pretty new only a handful of runs on it so i don't think the pins are worn but i can check it. I guess maybe i am expecting to much it just seems that my brothers losi with the same motor and esc accelerated way harder. I will just double check every thing and see if i find anything. Thanks

one would think that AE would jump on this and see the problem.

8mm doesnt sound like alot to take away from the suspension travel but scale that up to a 1:1 truck and i bet its a pretty decent amount.

new indoor track opens up this Sunday. Not racing cause I have a prior commitment but I'm definitely going to stop by and check it out.

This track is gonna be the shiznit in Florida and maybe even the whole east coast.

My sc10 2w has like 1 mm of up travel after the chassis cases. My 4w has more than that even with 8 mm of limiters.
